Default check out my Euro R dyno numbers

Finally got to the dyno with ITR #4279... results are 211,4 bhp at 8210 rpm and 134,2 ft-lb at 8070 rpm. Btw notice the dyno was done in fifth

Mods are:

- Mugen intake
- SMSP header
- SMSP 300 cell cat
- T1R catback
- Kenji ECU
- ATS clutch
- ATS flywheel
- ATS 3rd+4th+5th (with JDM FD = insane )

Hey that's nice numbers. Tourqe curve looks good.

Did you dyno the car before you had done any mods to it?

What kind of dyno did you use? I see you have only 165hp at the wheels, so this must be a very strict dyno.

My Euro R dynoed 182 at the wheels on a US Mustang dyno with less mods than dc2Rgirl here (only I/H/E). So I'd say dc2Rgirl would have about 200-205whp on a US dynojet.

200-205 with just intake, header and exhaust? Damn

Hrm...that just doesn't sound right.

At P1, the H2 car put down 165whp on a mustang dyno. This was with a Mugen intake, custom 2.5" exhaust with turn-down, and Toda header. You could probably make more peak power with a Hytech/SMS, but I can't see 17 more, especially with a stock bottom end and stock head.

Sorry, I should have clarified. It was a USDM C5, and also had only 10k miles.

The C6 should be a bit stronger because of the higher compression (same as JDM 11.1:1). Especially with a chipped ECU.

I knew about the higher compression, but I didn't think it would make a 17whp difference, especially on a Mustang. One whp is a bunch on it.

Again, jmo.

Drive on

211,4 is the BHP. And 134,2 ft-lb torque.

I will be dynoing it next week without the mods and then I will post it.... It was on a MAHA brake dyno (DIN 70020 corrected). When I went there last year with my other ITR with a catback only and a shitty ECU I got 192,5 bhp (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1188983). The guy at the dyno told me all the stock R's that have been there read around 185-190 bhp so ya it must be a strict dyno.

I know my H2 car will have 11.1 comp ratio due to a mugen head gasket, will also have an SMS header on it along with the SMS race exhaust. The J's racing intake will be on it for now. I'll dyno it once I have everything and see what kind of numbers I get.

Edit: I think I figured it out. you guys dyno the engine at BHP not WHP. We over on this side of the pond are going by WHP, which will be lower than BHP.

umm, no..... dc2Rgirl dyned 165whp with an _estimated_ 211hp at the flywheel. Whether that estimate is a good one is debatable.

We just use, for the most part, different dynos than in the US which produces different numbers.

Ok, but it's not 211 WHP like Jason and I were thinking. That would be way high with just an intake and exhaust, Mugen/SMS or not. The 165 WHP number is what we go by not the estimated FW HP or BHP of 211. That clears it all up.

No, whp and bhp is definately not the same.

But as I tried to explain in my previous posts, the results can be compared with US dynos based on the readings of my R on a US Mustang dyno.

I think the dynos are generally different here from the US so it's difficult to compare... what will be nice so see is the comparison with the other chart. In any case 20-22 hp over stock isn't that bad I think...

To much cross pond communication interference...

I don't see any baseline numbers.

Where is the graph of the car in stock form to show a 20 hp gain?

It would be cool if you could dyno with and without the Kenji ECU as well, as I'm about to buy one . AF readings would be nice also.

I will be dynoing it stock next week... But to get an idea here is my old graph of my other R without these mods:
