Hi everyone, the passenger side window of my 98 civic ex coupe would not go all the way up. When i reach about two inches from the top, it just bounces up and down, and it won't stop doing that. Its like the motor is pushing it up but for some reason it cannot. I can move it up and down with my hands and theres like two inches of play. its like a piece came off or something. Other than the top part, it works great.
I think the motor is good cause it works fine besides the top part.
What do you guys think is wrong?

 

Could be a bent window regulator. Mine use to do that and one day it just wouldn't go up at all. Bought the new regulator and it works great.

 

Most likely the window regulator. Does it make any odd noises? Have you taken the door panel off to see if there is anything noticibly wrong?
