Default 94 accord Engine swap suggestions.....

i was looking into swapping my engine i got a 94 accord LX 2.2 142k on it. The engine still running strong but i was looking for more power and please dont suggest turbo kits lol.

What are good engines like H22 H23 k20 i dont know lol and around how much do they run it doesnt matter if it had like 40-90k miles on it.

lol i swear my car runs like 48's lol er maybe its the super triple action DURALAST CLUTCH (actually its a normal DURALAST lol i was on a budget and in need!) or could it be that my cars weak performance is cause by the clutch? below are listed what i have done..

Also how much does it cost to run the car on a dyno i live in DE and i dont think anyone know wtf a DYNO is here its like the boomdocks! lol

Thanks and please no smart *** comments

Oh yes and please add specs of the engine if possible and does anyone know what the stock HP is for a 2.2 accord non vtec LX? 94?

Well, I was going to give some wise-*** remark; but I'll throw you a bone

F22b2
8.8:1 c/r
135hp @ 5200rpm
142ft/lb @ 4000rpm

Pick any engine 2.2 litre or bigger. The Accord has a fat ***, and it takes a lot to pull it around
.

and between turbo and an h22 what would be cheaper? with great performance?

wow. wrong in every way.

1. does not need to rebuild to boost.
2. 1500 might just cover your management, injectors and tuning.
3. Rebuild and boost for 3500? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I say, do it right. Get the new J32 TL engine with LSD and 6 speed. Spank H22/k24 anything all day long.

You will not regret it....

But then, you will be wasting a wonderful swap in a pretty commonplace vehicle. total sleeper points!

More than your car is worth. Go find one at a junkyard and ask. Also, for your generation chassis, it will be pretty tight if you are not starting with v6 model.

Good Luck.

Sounds like you don't know what you're doing... so unless you've got assloads of cash, I'd forget about swapping.

how is that wrong in every way? I am not saying he has to rebuild his motor but with those miles i would. Even with good compression blah blah.
And why cant you put your own kit together for 1500? I said nothing about tuning. That was just for the parts. I bet half the people on here with boosted cars spent less than 2k to make their own kit. But your solution in getting a ridiculously priced engine sounds good. and i have never seen a tl at a junkyard so enjoy chewing on your own ****.</TD></TR></TABLE>

What can I say to this....

Let's examine your posts more carefully....

You are saying nothing about tuning. Great.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Integra_drk &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> So you could probably rebuild and boost for about 3000-3500.</TD></TR></TABLE>I thought that "boost" was a verb meaning to run forced induction on an engine. This means driving it.

So you can get a junkyard kit strapped on to some crackhead deal rebuild and then what? Sit and take pictures of it. Certainly won't be driving it anywhere.

Maybe where you are, people only drive domestic pickup trucks and SUVs and all you see in the junkyard are those and the occasional 90s altima. It is amazing that you tell me to digest my fecal matter because your limited experience gives you an inferiority complex.

Turbo done right will cost you 5-6 grand. If you are not running boost (which means much more than strapping on some parts) reliably for more than 2 years then STFU.

You are still wrong in every way, but keep antagonizing me and see how much further up your *** you can put you head.....
