Drilling & tapping of stock pan??
I'm going boost here soon and i need to know where exactly i should drill in the factory b16 pan, i know if its too low it causes oil back-up and essentially trashing the turbo and same to be said if its too high?? any help greatly appreciated

on all the cars ive done ive put a 12an in the pan grinded the back side of the fiiting to be flat with the pan weld inside around the fitting grind down and then weld the outside of the pan were the fiiting is

I have NEVER heard of issues resulting from putting the fitting "too high" on the pan.

how high do i want to go w/ the fitting?? i can have a buddy of mine weld it on both sides so thats not a prob, anyone wanna measure theirs for me??
It's not an answer anyone can give you. Put your manifold/turbo on and then from there you'll be able to see which spot on the pan is optimum for your setup. Tapping the pan before seeing how everything is going to setup is a bigger risk than it has to be.

Yup, I set up my oil drain based on how the turbo + mani combo sat. When I went to install it into my car, the new crossmember didn't like that so much.

if it is a complete greddy kit it will come with parts for the oil pan and a template for the pan... the template will tell u how to mount it.... i have a greddy kit and used the drain fitting it came with and did not have to weld anything and no leaks for 1 1/2 yrs... so far...

It shouldn't leak assuming you don't bend the **** out of the pan when drilling it. I think the problem is most people don't support the pan correctly when drilling and bend it. This creates an area for it to leak. Its just alot more "fool proof" I think to weld it. Then there are no risks involved, you know?
