I went to the store with the cat in hand and searched until I found out what worked...something like a 4" bolt with a 1/2" nut...can't remember at the moment.

2x4" 5/16" bolts
4x5/16" jam nuts to fit on bolts
2x5/16" lock washers
2x5/16" fender washers
assemble like this
BOLT_>FENDER WASHER->HEADER->CAT->lock washer->nut->nut

BOLT->FENDER WASHER->*****SPRING from stock bolt/spring setup*****->HEADER-> the rest..

Where is a good place to find this stuff? Home Depot? Lowes? Does any place sell stainless stuff locally??
