car will not get into gear!!

Default car will not get into gear!!

i have a 95 civic ex. with a d16z6 and a y8 head with z6 tranny. the car will not get into gear with the pedal on the floor but will go in with car off.

check you clutch fluid then make sure the tranny has fluid

Yea check yor fluid it happend to me and if it starts to happenin again every month or so then u you have a slave and probabely a master cylinder out pretty coomn in the egs

checked the clutch fluid it was a little low so i added and tranny should be fine it was checked like 3 months ago.

now car makes a noise when you press in the clutch peddal and some times gets stuck.

yep it is like a squeeking and there is oil around the clutch peddal. i think the slave pump or w.e. died. how can i change that? or is that the problem?

i just had to fix mine. did you bleed your clutch when you added the new clutch fluid in? you might have air in there if it was low but if its the slave cylinder heres how to change it. its on the front of your tranny you dont have to jack the car up to take it off or change it. you'll see it to the left of your manifold. it comes out of a square rubber boot. There are 2 12mm bolts on the bottom of that take them out and using a 10 mm wrench loosen the nut that connects the line to the top of the slave cylinder. then take the slave cylinder outta the boot. check it and make sure there is a rod coming out. My problem was my springs on the inside was messed up might have to take it apart and check it all out. make sure to bleed the clutch when you get done, you might have air in there.
