with inner cool kit
Cat back exhaust system:NOT DUAL (All I knoe haves R1 racing tip)
What should I do 2 make it louder?
and after that..
WHat should be next? modification be.. for more torque?

haha torque in a civic ex......hmmmmm buy a new car maybe??? i would say you could do cams.....open up the valves a lil more and pull some more power out of it

 

For more torque you need forced induction ie turbo or supercharger

 

your obviously new to these forums, sorry to disappoint you but your not gonna me any power with that motor unless you turbo it or swap it with a K series END OF STORY !

I don't own an 01+ civic yet (very soon!!!) but from what I've been reading, the best way to get power in these cars is to throw down some money and invest in the turbo or a swap. No amount of regular engine work or small addons will get the power that you probably want.

Read up on the K series swap options. A Type-S swap is probably affordable if you save up a bit (though I have no idea what your budget is like, having just bought a car).

The Roush Stage 1's are V-6's.

You can get a roush stage 1 on your gt, you can also get a roush stage 1 on your cobra.

if it was a stang, it had to be a v-6 to got beat by a civic...i dont think it is possible fo r an na civ to beat the v-8 mustang

 

save up your money, and put a k20 in that bitch

I wouldn't do cams unless you are planning on ECU modifications as well; you can have all the overlap you want, but the new ECU's compensate for these changes, so you'll get nowhere with a stock ECU..

The EX will only get you so far, but a supercharger or better yet a turbo will give you good gains over where you are now without having to have a or become a good tuner....
