Default JDM Climate Control Help

So i am already done installing that is not the problem.....looks great i love it.

However, when i turn the ac on my ac compressor does not come on
and i assume there is supposed to be back lighting for the buttons at night....when i turn my lights on at night the only thing lit is the display.

Can anyone help me diagnose?

oh yeah and when i plugged up my srs the light never when off....have a bad feeling about that one. But they are both plugged in.

i'd start with fuses and relays, esp. since you said some of the buttons arent lighting up either....

yeah the display lights up fine, everything works there. I just assumed the words under the buttons should light up at night.

I guess my main concern is the srs light right now cause i gotta get my car inspected this month.

The ac compressor can wait a few months if necessary

i had the same problem. I used forbiddens writeup and it didn't mention the a/c wire in it. I'm assuming that's the problem so get the wiring diagram for the jdm climate control and find out what color the a/c wire is on the u.s. unit and connect them together and that should fix that problem. For the srs you need to do a reset assuming all of your srs components are in perfect working order. That can be done by jumping the plug next to the cel one in a certain order. Search for that someone will have the needed sequence to reset that.

yes all buttons are suppose to light up. I said all including the red and blue. I have a 100% functional one installed in my car.

Maybe you forgot to wire the #1 blu/yel wire to the JDM pin 20.

i got the #1 blu/yel wire to the JDM pin 20 connected to the #1 blu/red on USDM. I was looking at the diagram posted and it says they #1 blu/red on usdm is ac thermostat and the #2 green is the ac switch. Why is the green wire not connected to anything on the JDM?

I guess I am gonna take my long mlk weekend to source these problems

I don' t remember what color the wire is and to wich connector it goes but check the diagram on jrcormier.
I had the same problem, my compressor wasn't running too, it was because of the missing wire (my climate control was turning on even the A/C wasn't working).
If yours is already connected then maybe the problem comes from the A/C relay located on the front driver side or from the switch on the condenser.
