The ac in my hatch stopped working. With the 90 degree heat and 100 % humidty it sucks.

Any ideas where to start at. When I push the button on my HVAC control the green light does not come on. Tried to identify a fuze for the ac its self. Maybe I am just overlooking it. Any help would be good.

Why are you bumping this? Did you check for the blown fuse?

Does you compressor come on? You should be able to hear the clutch click and notice a slight fluctuation in rpm when it does. Sometimes the green light on my AC button doesnt come on but the compressor kicks in regardless.

Fuze is not blown

The compressor does not kick on or no change in rpms.

At the rear of the heater control panel, the A/C button light gets voltage on a Blk/Yel wire. Turn the key to ON(II) and check whether this wire has battery voltage to body ground.

ac systems have a auto shut off/ wont let the system engage if pressure is to high or pressure is to low. Also sometimes wont let ac system kick on if you have any codes.. so is the check engine light on? when was the last time you had the system charged?

The check engine light comes on after you drive it for about 20 mins. It is #1 that is either O2 sensor or the PCM.

The ac was recharged awhile ago. The compressor doesnt even kick on.

I am not sure if the HVAC controls are messed up cause my green light does not come on when I push the button.

Get a multimeter and do the voltage test I mentioned.

Just to clarify do any of the controls work on the ac/heater panel? Does the fan come on?

Can you switch between vent and floor and defrost?
Does rear defrost work ?
