ok quick run down
95 lx non vtec 5spd 180k

I poped the clutch hard form a light had a ton of wheel hop and now it sounds terrible and is running real rough.

Now before this i had an exhaust leak from the resonator between the cat and the muffler i think that what happened is that allt he wheel hop made this really bad and that is what is causing the poor perfomance / rough running / terribel sound. Does this soudn correct what else should i check so far it has thrown no CEL.

So, how high did it rev during this brilliant peice of driving? You may want to check and see if you've jumped time and then do a compression test.

i am thinking timing may have slipped i need to pick up a timing light and a compreshion tester i guess

one strnage thing is that the CEL has not come on yet?

ohh yea i was rolling backwards when i poped the clutch i dont think i over reved it i dotn think it even got to 5k

so how do i check if the t belt slipped

Are you sure you didn't break an engine mount? Wheel hop puts a ton of stress on them.

 

how can i chekc for this?
