you need a lot more than rims to get girls in a civic...... a kid around me got his d series swap before anything he had a mirror hanging off but still did the swap then about 2 months later he got some nice rims. He always told me he prefered the motor and then rims and suspension but its up to you, if you car has very nice paint and interior then get rims to compliment that but if its a **** box( no affense) then get your motor because the rims will look weird

Well if you get a good rim, you can actually combine performance with good looks. I'm not gonna give you a physics lesson, but obviously the lighter the wheel, the faster your car. Now this does not work the same way as a weight reduction to your CAR, because losing 40 lbs at the wheels is the equivalent performance-wise as losing 200 lbs inside the vehicle. For a good-looking, lightweight, decent priced wheel, I recommend Rota Slipstreams. I have em in black 15".
Don't know how to post a picture, but the link below has a pic of the rims on my car...

true...if your car looks shitty dont get rims cuz it will look really odd...go for motor

if ur car on the other hand has nice paint and interior, get rims to make it better

I got you
Step 1 - Get some fat 20's and roll like a pimp
Step 2 - Be a pimp and make lots of money
Step 3 - Buy a better car
Step 4 - Get addicted to coke and go to jail for 8 years
Step 5 - Visit your kid on Sundays and start a custody battle
Live the dream man.

Dont get some stupid slipstreams, there flat black too, so they look just as bad as your stock steelies.

Given the choice tho, take the y8, simply because the b7 is SO slow.

If you get some rims, take a lot of time to choose, or you could be one of those guys with a yellow hatch, green rims with a chrome lip and red lug nuts.

add some power and keep it looking stock as long as you can.

btw, I'm a firm believer that suspension needs to come before anything else. IMO, you should look into springs and shocks before the motor.

If your looking into actually doing a swap....and maybe rims suspension in the future...go GROUND UP!

Start with good rubber-(not even HAWT rimz, just good rubber.) good suspension, then drop in a monster motor.
