Default gsr brake swap - positive camber in the rear

recently did a gsr brake swap on my 97 civic hatch and I have about 1.5 of positive camber in the rear, and my toe is all out of wack...I had about -.5 before the swap

I used the LCA's off my civic, but I am wondering for the Upper's are you suppose to use teg or civic? I used the teg's and thinking that maybe the civic ones might fix the problem, any feedback from anyone? need to get this problem resolved asap

i had the same problem. I used the Civic LCA's and also the upper from my civic. That didn't change anything and I ended up haveing to roll my fenders. I would also like to know about this. About to buy a rear camber kit...

Nope, thus the reason my tires are all F****D. Will this solve my problem? <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Leb_CRX &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I used civic LCA's

Yep, that is what I used. I pulled the teg ones off and it was still positive. I'm pretty close to buying a rear camber kit. I miss my negative camber!

I got an alignment the day after I got the stuff put on

floored, did the civic ones give you different camber #'s than the teg or did it do the exact same thing?

in that case I might just buy a camber kit

I might just swap the UCA's and go in for an alignment...just worried about wasting time and money and not getting results

how bad is your toe? and is your camber negative? do you know how much before and how much after the swap?

It was exactly the same. I hear the trailing arms off a teg are wider. But there is no doubt my camber is positive. I do not know the number before and after I did the install. I just know it looks a little weird at certain angles. I have mad negative camber up front. and a touch of positive in the rear so...

if you swap the whole trailing arm (which you arent suppose to)
Then you use just the trailing arm. Comp. arm, LCA, and UCAs you will still use the stock ones. Also, after the swap, yes you will need a alignment cause you took out the Compensator arm bolt.

Is your trailing arm from a 90-93 Integra by any chance? you shouldnt need a camber kit for this.

nope it's off a 97 teg

I agree, everything I've read states I shouldn't need a camber kit, but my camber wear to the outside is horrid

by your 1st post you said you weren't suppose to swap the whole trailing arm, what do you mean by that?

So can you swap everything over to the trailing arm that had the drum on it? I didn't think that was possible? I thought you HAD to use the trailing arm that came with the rear disc conversion. Please clarify.

EDIT: Or do you mean that you only use the trailing arm from the teg and the rest should be from the civic? I have upper and lower from my civic, the only thing I didn't use was the compensator arm. So do I need to swap that and we should be good?

Mines not.

Compensator arm I believe is the part that is at the very front of the trailing arm that is used to do allingments. That is the only part I didn't use from the civic. I don't see how that would affect toe...
