Default Installed Neg. Battery terminal & new ground

I installed my new neg. battery terminal, and new wire, also I replaced one of the stock grounds.
I am guessing that the ecu reset after having the neg. ter. off of the battery for more than 10 minutes.
When I initially started the car, the idle was going up and down, after about 30-1 minute it stopped and leveled off. I had to use some pb blaster to losen the screws, could this have caused the idle to hunt?

What is the ground wire connected to in this picture besides the radiator support ?

Prior to doing this work, the cruise control had a lag of maybe 20 seconds before it engaged, after doing this work, the cruise engages immediately???
This is the setup on the battery

my car idles like that when if first starts up all the time, i belive its just a normal thing for it to do. And the pb blaster would not have done that but just clean all the connecting terminals off and dont leave them wet with pb blaster

I cleaned the area for any remaining pb blaster.
My car did not hunt for idle like this before, either way it went away after a less than a minute. This the sort thing that makes me all the more paranoid

is it still doing it now? If it isn't I really wouldn't worry about it.

Something is wrong with your car.

josephshark
Your ecu just reset no big deal. Pre obd 1 cars will recalibrate the idle after the ecu resets its normal.

Like when you add a new intake, it does the same thing because you are making it easier to put air into the motor and the air is a different temperature depending on which intake you get. Oh and where did you get those blue cables?</TD></TR></TABLE>

The cables are stinger power wires hpm , I purchased them on ebay.

Back from the motherf*****dead kids.

If you look at the first pic, my radiator support ground to power steering bracket is the same as his. I was looking at my manual and it has this ground going from the radiator support then to THE VALVE COVER. which way is correct or normal or better?
