I picked up my new car yesterday, it was an adventure but me and my friend had a ton of fun.
It is a manual/standard/stick/passive transmission/gearbox and so I had to learn, YES I WAS an automatic baby, but now I am a manual driving MAN now. Watch out.
Specs:
1995 Honda Civic Si Coupe (Coop-eh - in the UK)
1996 Acura Integra LS B18B1 non Vtec DOHC
Air Freshener
Smells of Capt Black cigars
When I got it: A good millimeter of ash throughout the entire car. The trunk had a custom sub box made of fibre glass in there, which made the whole car a fricken pile of fibre glass.
When I got it home: Spend a good 30 mins vacuuming and cleaning the interior. Looks about 137.46% better than before, so I was excited.
And the all important pictures, and yes that IS a 1989 Ford Festiva, tis my sisters beater(140,000 original KMs from 1989 :D):

only thirty minutes cleaning it? damn i think i just go overboard sometimes. when i got my crx (long gone now) i think my friend and i spent a total time of about 7 hrs cleaning it... but that was the whole car... id say probly two or three on the inside
If I may reccomend...
rustoleum black spraypaint for the windshield wiper arms. Trust me, itll look better that way.
When I detailed my car it took me 8 hours, I probably spent a good 2 hours in the interior. Also, I'd reccomend a differnet muffler. That looks like one that probably sounds pretty bad ( like a JDM or "ricer" one, which are the same thing nowadays).
Headlights are kinda cool, tho im not a fan of the angel eyes. Id reccomend also spraypainting the mesh on the bumper, or at least doin it in the middle to match.

how much did you pay?? atleast it has a swap to start you off.. But yes paint those arms to black again, take that grill off and get some new headlight because those kind blow bulbs all the time. I would think of getting a new exhaust also and deff toss the red H emblems if anything get black.. But its your car maybe you like it like that but these are just suggestions and nothing more
Whiting out plates? Nah, clifford alarm, and I am in a smallish town in Canada, with the outside lights on ALL the time.
I like the headlight covers, but they diffuse the light, so its SUPER weak, and I dont like it, I guess I'll have to fix it.
Yeah, NEW valve cover for sure, I dont like the green :S Maybe a Vtec cover, even though its not :S oh well
I paid about $4600 US, but thats about $800 less than what they go for with no swap :S
I am going to keep the grills, no big deal. I am going to keep the wipers, I don't look at them, so I dont care.
And the Muffler is a Tenzo R Type 2 universal, not a rice can, but not super high end either, its better than my EF's cherry bomb.
and it is my Second car

definately NOT a fan of rice
the guy who had it before had neons and such in his car, so I had him take it off. as well as a sort of body kit, but I had him take that off as well.
Thing is, I have to get the wiring checked out, interior lights dont always work, and the horn doesn't work. so it'll be a trip to the honda dealership/friends house to check it out
edit: thanks :D Second car, first manual, took me a couple of hours, but i got it down now, should be perfected within the week
edit: and yeah, it took more like an hour with 3 guys working on it. I have a super nice shop vac with car attachments, it takes care of the crap really nicely, so it doesn't take long, besides I jjust got it, and our garage door doesn't open on its own, so I really wanted to drive it, still looks really nice
