difference between d16 and d15?

Default difference between d16 and d15?

what is the difference between these two, are the rods the same and it is just the bore? if so then can i bore out a d15 block to make d16 pistons fit? thanks adam

D15 connecting rod large end bore diameter=45.0mm
D16 connecting rod large end bore diameter=48.0mm

The crankshafts have different size journals so no...

And a D16 crank won't fit in a D15 block either because
the main journals are different sizes..

true for DX
HF is 41.0mm

I saw that in the manual but did not post it..
Either way,It is probably not happening..
