This problem just occured to me in the past couple of days. The antenna mast always stays up whether if the radio is on or not and I cant get the mast to go back down. I think the motor is still fine. I can still hear it running. Is there a certain part I can buy from the dealership or do I have to buy the whole replacement set?

 

You probably need to replace the 'antenna mast' This link should help you

From what I have read, the gear gets stipped on one side. you can take it apart, flip the gear over and lube it up and use it some more.
