Default Speed Sensor problem.

A couple of days ago my speedo started going crazy, and then all of a sudden my check engine light came on. People say its my speed sensor, what that mean i need a new one or is it loose? and where exactly is it located? thanks.

The speed sensor is going to be located on the backside of your transmission, near your starter. It's held on to the transmission by one 10mm bolt. 99% of the time, cleaning it will fix this problem. However, if cleaning it doesn't work I would suggest buying a new one.
