Most likely the contact posts are worn down in the starter solenoid. Depending on the year, there's a starter post repair kit from Honda that's dirt cheap. If it's a newer model, then a GM starter post contact fits great with a tiny bit of file work. Either way it's a lot cheaper than buying a starter.
As OldTopTech said, suspect the starter solenoid first. One additional thing you can watch for to confirm this diagnosis; watch the lights and be aware if they dim or not.
If they don't dim (You just get the 'click') it will be either the solenoid h/d contacts or one other condition.
If they do dim, you may have an internally shorted starter motor armature.
The "Other Condition" I eluded to was worn Starter Motor Commutator Brushes. They actually wear to the point that they loose spring pressure (they're so short) and hardly touch the commutator.
Several in these hallowed halls have suggested the "Crow Magnon" test for this condition: Whack it with a hammer. If you can catch the starter %$^# around, you might try it.
Metric Hammer only (Please)

Yeah lets start with the SIMPLE STUFF first; we can do the in-chassis overhaul later if it's needed.

I was going to say the same thing. Battery might be weak.
