I have an 03 accord 4 cyl. Automatic won't start at all brand new battery I've swapped the starter relay to see if that was issue but didn't fix ive tried tapping the starter to see if that would help start that didnt work i know starter is getting power because I have arched the power wire to manually jump it but even then the starter won't engage when i turn the key all i hear is a click from under the hood please help

There are two wires to the starter. One large one from the battery that should hav 12v at all times.

There is a small wire to the solenoid on the starter, when the key is turned to start it should have 12v. If that tests out and the starter will not spin.....time for a new starter.

I appreciate it I'll have to check that out now let's say I replace the starter and it still doesn't start where do I go from there
