Default Power steering question.

Hello everyone. I'm in the process of doing an h22 swap into my 95 accord. I was considering removing power steering. Does anyone know if any 5th gens came without powersteering. If not does anyone have suggestions on how to convert the rack to manual steering. I've heard you can just loop the lines on the rack. Anyone here done that on an accord? I know some people do it on civics and integras. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to build up your arms, just get some dumbells, and do some curls and stuff. I don't think you want to try turning the car without power steering, unless maybe it will be strictly used for drag racing (no turning required).

Arms are already built up so I think I can handle it. LOL. So I guess you can't answer any of the questions I asked. Anyone else?

I love the feel of my accord without power steering. It's only hard to turn when you are at a complete stop. Just give it a little gas and you'll be fine. You have three options for removing the P/S. 1)Run the rack dry, which i don't recommend because it causes a lot of wear on the rack. 2)Loop the lines. 3)Run the two lines off the rack to a brass T and then to an old clutch reservoir (use 5/16 fuel line). This acts as a breather so you don't have to fight against the air pressure in the rack present if you just loop it. IMO #3 is the best.

Yeah, it looks a lot nicer. So does yanking out the a/c, but it probably gets a lot hotter down there in TX.
