my engine check light just keeps coming on. i looked up the code and it's 22 which means it's the vtec oil pressure or it's suppost to be according to the forms here. my question is what is causing the oil pressure to go wrong? i cleans out my vtec solenoid, but now the light comes on right when i start my car. i'm thinking it could be the oil, i'm using royal purple 5w30 with i heard isn't good for vtec motors, but i don't know that's what i heard. i could use some help, thanks!

 

on your vtec solonid there should be a green plug wit 2 wires on it. thats the oil presure switch. thats code 22. make sure it's got a good ground and good conectivity to the ecu.
