Default leak

any of you ep3 guys, have any of you ever had a leak back in the hatch, it sometimes fills the spare tire well with as much as an inch of water....i took it to the dealership cause i couldnt find out where it was coming from, and they said they fixed it. it still leaks and i dont konw what to do about it. if anyone has had a similair situation and knows the casue, i would apreciate it...

thanks
phil

I started having leaks inside the hatch door after I got the Mugen Replica CF Spoiler.. But the leaks so far don't get in my trunk so it doesn't bother. me.. Did you search threads in ephatch.com forum?? I belive quite a few people had this problem.... Do you have aftermarket Spoiler ,removed your Stock one, or modifed your hatch in anyways???

I don't know, I have never checked that area! I have had a problem with my door locks and e-brake, but not that! Good luck on figuring it out!

Put powder on the weatherstrip on the hatch, ops!
clean the weather strips on hatch an car! ^^
I use like white talcum powder-don't get it all over everything-
close the hatch and open-this should show where there is poor or no seal!
easy!!!!!!!!!!

Might be condensation?
Sometimes I wonder how water gets into cars. It's some sort of mystery of the universe.

This may be hell, but if the dealer didn't find it and you can't. I would suggest strip down the area where you know it's leaking from and have someone w/water hose pour water near that area so you can pinpoint where the water is coming in from.
