need advice on custom exhaust.
Alright, i've been thinking about having a quiet, but yet throaty exhaust made.
My setup i have in thought right now is:
cat > longest resonator that can fit > S bend > then to a obx twinloop muffler (tested to be 2.5" straight through). All with 2.5" OD piping and 2.5" OD in/out resonator.
Will the resonator be able to quiet down the sound a lot? How exactly does the resonator work?
Yes i already know that the stock cat and collector will bottleneck it. But i'm doing one step at a time.
Thanks!

Sound clip taken from behind the car about 15 feet. There is really no raspy quality, just some static from the recording mic being over-powered. It is really pretty quiet at cruising speeds.
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust
2.5" x 22" magnaflow resonator
8 x 5 x 14" magnaflow straight through muffler
2.3 liter
cammed nonVTEC (that's why the idle is lopey)
11.7 compression

Nobody measures pipe by ID. Only OD and wall thickness. You're on your own to be conscious of the ID.

you can go with 1 long resonators, or you can go with 2 shorter resonators, crammed in whereever they fit. (i believe you can use a shorty resonator on the transverse part of the exh.)
