Default Removing a broken Bolt

I just got my valve cover painted yesterday and when i was putting the cover back on my SOHC the bolt on the right in front broke off while i was using the ratchet to screw it down. I removed the cover again and the bolt broke down inside of the block housing. ..or whatever that thing is on top of the cam, and there is not enough of it sticking out to grab and turn. I can't drive my car now because of that one retarded screw. Does anyone know what i can do to remove it?

get a punch with a point at the tip and hammer, and angle the pin at about a 45 and hammer the screw in the direction to loosen it, give a good wack or 2, if that doesn't do it, you can always try drill a hole in the center and using an e-z out, but be careful with that

You can drive your car just fine. Slap a piece of duct tape on it and rock *** until you're ready to have it fixed correctly.

LOL okay, i just don't want the oil leaking out of the valve cover where it's not tightened down on that corner. .. i just read on another thread here that the bolts are not supposed to be tightened more than 7ft/lbs. . .wish i would have known that before . . i didn't even think the bolt was tight yet i was just trying to make sure it was snug. .. .oh well. . .since i don't have my license right now and i won't get it back until may then i guess i don't have anything to worry about. . but dang it sucks all i wanted was to paint my valve cover. Im probably going to try the ez out thing if the tapping it lefty lucy doesn't work any lol.

Thanks for the reply, but i did do a search and this is the only thread the search engine came up with https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1464637
This thread didn't help me much since it was a sort of different scenario.

I got it fixed. .. just drilled a small hole down the center of the screw. . then i tapped an ez out into it and then it twisted out with my fingers. Easy out!
