Water cover outlet (coolant return) question

Okay, it's part #7 I'm wondering about:

I would like to know if that part from an EF (d15b2 & d16a6) will work on a d16z6 head. The reason I'd like to know is because the EF part faces the passenger side, while the Z6 part faces mostly forward. With a del sol rad in my car, the hose is almost kinking because of the wierd angles.

You can swap them and use the A6/B2 hose, or keep it and get a Z6 del sol upper radiator hose.

By 'swap them' you mean the aluminum part, right? I just want to be perfectly sure. Thanks.

Yea, the part that bolts to the head. Use the grey sealant or HondaBond.
