I just bought some power mirrors for my hatch but they are green and I need them black.
The mirrors are stock power mirrors from an '00 coupe.
So I need to know how to pull them apart so that I can paint them without having to worry about taping anything off.
Having looked at it myself I can see three screws that are behind the glass, but I cannot get to them because the glass is in the way.
Anyone know how to get to these screws or some other way to take these mirrors apart?

ok nevermind, I found the answer strangely enough in my servicing manual
If anyone else if looking to know, you simply lever the glass off of its two pivot joints.
Then simply push it back into the joints when done.
