Ok....I bought some used JDM Power Folding Mirrors for my 00 Civic Ferio(4dr) off an retailer on Ebay. I bolted the mirrors up and got my friend to wire up the mirrors and switch and everything else. The first problem I had was the switch burned out but thank God someone around my way had one for cheap. So we wire everything up and the left mirror folds in perfect and looks sweet and then the right mirror folds like 1/4 of the way and then if you slightly push it it will finish folding back. That sucks because I can't even really use them if I have to slightly push one of them & thats the passenger side one too. I need to know is there anyway the mirror can be taken apart and maybe replacing the gear that sounds like its not catching or skipping a tooth or something. Everything else works fine but that right mirror. Pls help because I already painted them to match my car & everything so I need to know can the mirror be taken apart and fixed? If not what are the odds that I can find a 96-00 Civic passenger side power folding mirror(1) meaning right side for cheap?

the little motor is probably shot in the mirror.
you can take it apart, but you would be better off finding another mirror.

Not to discredit your response or anything but I don't think that the motor is shot because it still folds with the help of a "slight" push but I'm no mechanic. What are the odds of me finding "one" right side mirror for my car? It sounds like its off a tooth or something....Is there anything that I could do or if I could find a cheap OEM replacement somewhere?

take it apart and see what its catching on.. maybe grease it up.
