Default Do power mirrors have to be power mirrors?

I was thinking of getting some replica Spoon mirrors for my 00. I don't really care if the mirrors are hooked up to the power switch. Can I simply move/adjust the mirror by hand and just leave the power cable or whatever tucked up inside the body of the mirror?

92-95 Civic mirrors work as you say. My 93 Civic's manual mirror broke on one side. I tried a power mirror from the junkyard, and it's fine without a power connection. I cut the wires short enough so they are covered by the decorative trim, and it looks great. Like you said, you just adjust it manually from the outside of the car.

Yeah, my car is a 00 Si. I'd like to just buy some Spoon type non-power mirrors. I don't care about cutting wires or doing any wiring. I am perfectly fine with adjusting the mirrors by hand.
