I was just wondering where would the fuel meter be if the car totally ran out of gas? I have one of these civics but always refilled it when touching the red..

oh yeah is there a empty fuel light notification if there is almost no more gas?

 

there is no low fuel light warning system, and the needle would be past the red line when out of gas, not sure how far past as I have never got that low but when it is E it is E.

 

It can go like an 1/8 of an inch below E. I think I got 340 miles and mine shut off from being out of gas.

 

are you serious that it can go below E? thats very far down

and the other guy said when it hits E its really empty
