B16 in EG6, acceleration chokes/surges when car gets accelerated...need help
I swapped a b16 into my eg6, after the swap the dizzy was no good so I bought a new one, after buying a new dizzy the car now starts but when accelerated the engine surges or chokes and shuts off. When I attempt to start it all over again it doesn't start right away, it takes several turns to start what is going on. I've changed the distributor, map sensor, gas to 93 octane what could it be? Please some one help me.
Also replace your fuel filter might just be old and clogged. My friend's gsr swap ran bad because of this.
This sounds really dumb but make sure that the TPS and Map sensor wires are correct. They fit eachother but they dont work right when wrong.
Would you happen to know if the fuel pump has anything to do with it, because i swapped a b16 into a 94 Civic CX(thats the model of my car)?

I have a B16'd VX and I forgot to fully tighten down my thermostat ground, power was all over the place, backfiring and ****. Check all gorunds, replace all the larger ground wires with new ones if you can. Fuel filter would be good to. Also I still have my stock VX fuel pump in my car, has no problem all the way up too 8200
Did you try those wires. Cause me and my buddies had the same problem when I rebuilt my motor and put it back in. We tried everything. Just check the two wires that I already mentioned. Then it should run.
