J-Spec ITR Headlight Measurements/Pics
Hey guys, I searched through here and found lots of info on the lights which was great. However, before I waste my cash I'm looking for some more detailed information from any people that have done the J-Spec conversion.
If any has some detailed pics of their headlight install I would love to see them. More importantly I'm looking for some measurements. I apologize in advance for my ghetto MS Paint skills
Here's what I'm looking for:
On the right hand side (of the photo, left on the car)..imagine an imaginary line going down from the right edge of the hood at 90 degrees.
1. left corner to imaginary hood line
2. height of imaginary hood line
3. hood line to beginning of curve in light.
4. height from beginning of curve 90 degrees to bottom of the light
I would certainly do this myself..if I could get my hands on some lights..so you see my problem..any help is GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!

Hehe yes I have a 4th gen prelude and I'm considering a little conversion action...I know bodywork is required, but I want to map it all out first. Here is my car, don't mind the snow!:

I've seen it done maybe once or twice...and I need a new project.

well that's not very nice...I just think they're similar enough to prelude headlights that it would be a tasteful rather than ricey thing to do. Sorry I just really like the J-Spec integra headlights, is that a crime? Glad I waited a week to get authorized for this board so I could get made fun of.

ohhhhh
SORRY DUDE! I see what you were getting at now. My sincere apologies...
Personally, I don't want to go extreme with the body molding. I understand now that your edit was NOT to make me pissed
...well if you did the measurements I would still really appreciate them!!

why don't you save yourself alot of money and just take your headlights apart and paint he surroundings black...I've done this to various cars (EK, Accord, EL) with very nice results...just becareful and take your time

Yeah ITR lights are even more expensive than Prelude J-Spec Black Housing Headlights. I mean if just wanted black housing lights, I'd just buy the Prelude ones. It's just something for me and my brother to work on in the spring for fun...
The painting is a good idea though...what type of paint did you use? I would think there would be a fair bit of heat in there, and also I would be worried about condensation from not resealing the lights properly?
Hopefully I can get my hands on some lights this weekend, unless somebody here is feeling frisky with a tape measure today...

Sorry one more question. from the pic I posted above...can someone please detail the function of each light? This is my guess from the picture:
Outside to Inside:
1. Parking Light/TurnSignal
2. Low Beam
3. High Beam
4. Fog Light?
Thanks again guys, please correct me where I am wrong..Thanks!

Yeeeeeaah I know they look good
, and they're quite easy to install and wire. I'm just looking for more of a challenge, but within the realm of rational modification of my car. I just think ITR Black Housing lights look even better than the Prelude black housing lights

i'd go...s15 headlights, altezza tails, mr2 side vents, 17" dc5r rims, hood scoop from a WRX STI, and a wild paint job.
*shouts, turns off the computer, goes into his room, slams the door, weep all night!!!*
