Default Squeaky belts....How to get rid of them

Ok for a while now my power steering belt has squeaked. And it does it all the time, but gets worse when its damp outside. I tried belt dressing (a guy at a local parts shop told me it could help) but it just got my engine bay all dirty. I already fixed the a/c belt just by tightening it, but i dont see where I can do this with the power steering belt. Do you think its just the belt that is worn out and stretched or is there a way to increase tension in the belt. I dont really want to have to change it but if its the only thing that will solve my problem I guess I'll do it. Thanks bros!

It's possible it's worn, how old is it? I don't know about honda, but every other car I've worked on has had a way to tension the belt that is similar to the A/C.

Why not just change the belt? its not that hard, nor is it that expensive. Just doooo itt and you'll probably be a lot less frustrated in the end.

The belt is probably the original. Its just been either raining or really cold here and I dont have a garage to do it in so it would be easier just to tighten it.

Any more suggestions on a way to fix this or help finding the tensioner for the belt. Thanks

yeah, not having a garage totally sucks. I'm in the same boat on that one. My tip: get one of those electric space heaters and an extension cord, some mechanics gloves (actually i recommend the GOJO hi-tactiles) and have your engine somewhat warm, get that new belt and bang it out. you'll be fine. unless of course its below zero or something
