i recently removed my throttle cable from the throttle rotor and my check engine light went on after i reinstalled it, i reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes. any ideas whats causing the check engine light.....thanks

 

if you rip up your passenger side carpet and tell us how many times the LED in the ECU is blinking we can tell you the answer

 

I am going out on a limb but from what you say it might be the TPS sensor. But like Trinity said we will be able to better help you once you tell us what code the ecu is reading.
