Default I need Turbo help...

well, this guy i know has a greddy turbo kit for my car(2003 RSX type S) but i dont know if i should get it, im not worried about putting it in or n e thing, but ive heard rumors about like people blowing their motors, i think it was something like they were hitting VTEC with their turbo spooled up already and......i dont know, something like that thoug...if someone could write back and tell me the goods and bads about turbo a K20 VTEC....i would appreciate it, thanx

get it...get K-pro....get it professionally tuned...and you shoudl be fine...

there are some pretty knowledgable guys on here...wait till they respond...i only know general stuff on turbos

No, there are no problems with putting a turbo on a K20. In fact there are a few people out there that are 500+ hp on completely stock motors. Hitting vtec w/ a turbo makes no difference. **** is not going to break, especially with the tiny turbo Greddy comes with. Its only good for high 300's.

But I suggest doing your research. A turbo is not a plug and play mod. Even if it is properly setup there are some things that you should be aware of.
