problem with,...little smoke??
Sup guys, fully built itr motor,Doesn't burn oil but when i rev it high, or get on it hard it sometimes blows some smoke, mostly blue, it aint grayish, its tuned, and i've had a comp ratio test, its 220 across the board, i haven't had aleakdown test, but it doesn't burn really any oil, even after say a full night of being on it hard, all the way up to 9300, i might have to add a half a quart of oil say every 2-3 weeks...maybe?? any ideas.. i just was getting back on the clock at work and i just reved my motor alittle bit and noticed a good bit of smoke, i dont think i've really ever noticed it till now, but it doesn't leak nor does it burn oil, should i try a different motor oil say, 5w30? instead of 10w30 maybe?? i'm running mob 1 fullysyn motor oil been, i do all the maintance regular to it, and well i'm just wondering if this isa concern.. i dont think it is cause the car pulls very VERY strong, and doesn't leak any ideas?
Are you running a catch can? The oil might just be blow by thats being burnt up in the cylinders.
OR
You might have a bad oil ring. Compression tests only rely on the compression rings.
But if your not running a catch can then I'm assuming this is the problem.

Wouldn't valve seals change the comp numbers?

Depends. I've seen it do it and not. Depends on how bad they are I guess. Your not really loosing compression by the valve seals as much as a seeping while it sits, thus leaving oil in the combustion chamber. Then when you start it up, or run it hard it will smoke a bit. It's not much but it's enough. My old GS-R had this issue. It wouldn't smoke at start up but between hard shifts it would. Just a guess.

valves are brand new, by crower, i indeed did put NEW Seals,i'm running a stock pvc catcher, i shook it, and it shakes & i can hear it, so i know its still good, itsnot a big problem but its something that drew my attention, the motor never sits and your correct it really only does this either between hard shifts or just reving the crap out of it..i guess i need to doa leakdown test ,but i'm also wondering if i should upgrade to a new catch can, or possible, to just put a oil breather on there?
If the valves are new, along with the seats then I would look to the oil ring. Where they replaced when the motor was built? Other than that, you could as stated above put a catch can in place.

The stock pvc system can't keep up and since your redline is 9300 you def are creating some crankcase pressure. I would suggest a catch can.

i guess i'll just go ahead and upgrade to a new catch can, the O rings been done, the motor's been built for about 8 months now, no problems makes great power and rev's sky high, i'm just wondering.
Invest in the Endyn breather setup, its cost effective and works.
Compression will not show bad valveseals, unless you do it dead cold. Leakdown however, will. But since you replaced them, I suppose that rules them out.
