Default losing oil at high rpms?

when i get on the engine really hard, i smell oil when i go outside of my car.
maybe...2 weeks ago i filled up my oil so it went up to the 2nd dot on the dipstick
and just the otherday my oillevel dropped below the middle of the 2 dots.
i basically have some questions :
1. would bad motor mounts somehow, indirectly, cause me to lose oil?
2. would having older motor oil (my oil has less than 1000 miles but it is pretty black) cause me to lose more oil?
3. how quickly does motor oil go bad when you rev high? maybe 2500 miles?

thanks guys, any help would be awesome

1 more.

im bored .20 over, lets say i got the wrong headgasket, lets say for bored .30 over
would this make me lose oil gradually? or would it be a big problem form the get-go. this is a far stretch but im just trying to rule out options.

would having a compression test let me know if my headgasket is wrong?
anything over 250 is good right?

if your not burning oil (blue smoke) and its not pooling under your car when you park (oil stains) then its running into your coolant. look for milky/whitish colored looking oil or crap in your coolant.

he might not be burning enough oil to have a big billowing cloud out back so he might not notice it.

get someone to follow you and get on it hard while they look at the exhaust and have them look for any puffs of any color smoke but black (black is just unburnt gas).

sounds like you have a slow oil burning problem or you've got a small leak somewhere, the oil might be leaking out and burning off on the exhaust too...
