All the lights on the console with the radio went off. Is there a separate illumination swith for that? The radio plays but does not light up (very feint) you can hardly see it in daylight and all the A/C controls illum. lights does not come on. Anyone else had this problem? Do I have to take this into the dealer?

 

You are the proud owner of a faulty audio unit. Those drop like flies. Take it to your dealer and they will replace it under warranty regardless of mileage. Be sure all of your cd's are ejected before you bring it in.
If you still want to use it before it's fixed just shine a light on the display and you will be able to see it.
