Where to find most of the VIN numbers of my crx ?

since my doors were painted, the paintshop removed the stickers.... Is there any place I can find the vin # on them ?

 

Under your hood on I guess what's called the firewall? Right below the windshield.. It's engraved.

And on your dash.

it is on the driver's side dash, on your driver's side door (but that was removed), and engraved on the firewall inside the engine bay. -Jon

 

hmmm but do the doors come with vin numbers ? I dont know if they had stickers of the vin in the doors when I sent it to paint

because I live in PR, and in here, cops on the weekends make a group next to the "main road" making a huge trafic, they stop you if they see anything weird on your car and they check what they whant.

 

plz help

 

all you could do is get it realign.
they'll give you a vin to put on your door.

nope the doors done come with vin numbers . . only body frame frmo the side and just the engine bay is where its commonly found or should i say . . SHOULD be found . .

so the doors dont come with VIN numbers ?

what about the hood, fenders or trunk ? do they come with VIN stickers ?

 

ummm... my door has the VIN # on it.


as long as the VIN on the Dash is there... your good... if it matches the one on the Firewall... even better.... stop worrying so much.

check the VIN on the dash, firewall. and compare it to the one on your title/registration/insurance card...

i think u have one under the unibody somewhere not sure of the loction.

 

there should be a plate on your door jam that has the vin stamped into it and some other info..if the paint shop removed that and didnt put it back on..thats not to good..
