Default RRR ITB's worth IT!!!!!!

Are ITB's really worth it, I"m working on a D16a6 bottom with a1 piston z6 head, exospeed cam, bisi header, mild P&P and hondata s300 management. I'm working on a set of CBR 929 ITB's but am wondering if there really worth all the extra work? How much WHP can I make with this set up? Will I at least be in the 170 range? What kind of gain can I expected over Fuel Injection?

It'll gain you some...but it's no miracle solution.

ITB's are designed for throttle response. Not power.
And YES they are worth it.

If you have a horrible intake manifold setup to begin with, would ITB's not appear to make you power under the idea of less restriction?

Hondata is a waste for n/a d16

You wont be in the 170 range unless you pull some crazy timing

hm... I think 170 at the crank might be pushing it a bit too.

Why not do a B swap while you're at it?

I have the engine laying around and have a set of p29 i got a hold of for 20 bucks, so i figured i will tinker with it a bit. Also I'm pretty new at this and I figured to go the cheaper rought and learn as much as posibble about(tuning, engines,set-ups,and making power) I have a d16z6 turbo currently and I make pletty of power but I have obd 0 and the tunning sucks. The s300 is just an investment so I could teach myself how to tune. I will be working on a B-series in about a year for another HB.

Bottom Line How much Power will I make??????

That's dependant on soooooooo many variables. No-one will know. If all goes well you might end up in the 150 range. But that's a guesstimate.

Do the work, and dyno it. That's the only way you'll find out.

These engines do have great response and pickup tho. That's where your advantage is going to be. Not in the raw power band.
