Oil in D17
I own a 2002 Honda Civic sedan with a completely stock D17 block. I usually replace the oil with the reccommended 5w20 grade but today I got the oil changed at Walmart and they put in 1030 grade. When I questioned the mechanic, he said I needed a heavier oil for winter (I live in Dallas, Texas and the temperature rarely drops below 40). I personally believe he is bs'in. Should I drain the oil? Will my engine be damaged? Thanks for the help.
