is '06+ SI upper rad hose the same as dc5????

need to know for my k20a R swap going in

ok wait...are u saying your putting a k20a-r in the new si? cause if you are, then thats just plain retarded..but i think what ur saying is since they didnt make the type r ur looking for a hose to work when u do ur swap in whatever car u have? and the type S should be the same..but if you are putting the type r in the new Si good luck. its all drive by wire system its gonna be a pain in the ***. not to mention, the new motor is basicly the same and its actually a little better. but im not sure what ur doing so yea..

 

am i missing something. a k20 in a FG2 is a k20 in a FG2. what happened to the upper Rad hose that came with your brand new si??

I have a 2000 hatch...

I can get deals on OEM honda parts but not acura & I know the upper RSX-S hose fits (with a 'lil trimming)- make sense now

 

for some reason i read his post correct...


his is ask if the 2006 and up civic's upper rad. hose is the same as the dc5....

 

Not exactly the same, but it will work. I have a my older K20 motor in our 2006 Civic Si now and it worked out fine.

 

i am not sure but would the radiator hose from the 2002-2005 civic si work ?
