Default B16a driveabilty issues

I recently put a b16a into my 91 hf, and it runs good except for one thing. When you are driving in 5th, at a constant speed, the motor starts sputtering. I give the car a little gas, sputters more. I press the pedal to the floor, sputtering stops, car accelerates. Then after that the car runs awesome for like a minute or two, then starts again. I also experience this if I accelerate really slow like in second gear, it will sputter till I push the pedal a lil bit. There are a few things i have tried. I have played with my cam and my ignition timing-nothing. I have played with the vaccum hoses, and sensors-nothing. The car will do this when it is cold, and when it is at normal temp. I have no check engine lights and no codes are flashing. I don't know what to do next. ANYONE ever experience this? Could this be distributor related? HELP!

Thanks for reading.

also could be clogged injectors or a clogger fuel filter. maybe even a tired fuel pump.

I would definitaly go with a fuel issue also. Have you checked to see if the throttle body is sticking? We've had a few issues whit those lately.

definately run some throttle body cleaner through it and some fuel injector cleaner. my friends RX7 did that, too. it was the fuel injectors.

Shiet that happend to me too ended up being the crank sensor being bad (no ac sine wave) well it was intermittent, so i changed it just like brand new.
