Default rsx tranny?

hey whats up...im looking to do a h22 swap into my 97 accord...i know the f22 tranny will bolt right up and ive read that the b18 tranny would work even better...but i have not heard anything about the rsx tranny...how difficult would it be to bolt it up? and would it be worth it?

B tranny wont bolt to the F block, neither will a K series tranny, which spins the opposite direction

the f and h series motor/trannies are interchangeable...however, the b/d/etc trannies/motors will not interchange with the f and h series (only exception is the f20c and f22c motors in the s2000 which will not work with any of honda's other trannies)...the rsx motor (k series) spins in the opposite direction of the f and h series motors...using this transmission (if it were able to bolt up, which it isn't) will allow you to go 140 + mph in reverse, but only about 25-30 mph in any forward direction...stick with the f and h series motors trannies in your chassis for relative ease...

You can bolt a B-series tranny to an H22 if you use the H2B kit. It seems to be gaining a lot of popularity among people in the Hybrid forum.

Wow never heard the H2B kit might have to check that out. But yea Fseries/Hseries trannies are interchangeable other than the ones in the S2k. The K series tranny WILL work if you have a K series motor. It will not work with an H.

The H2B kit from Quartersports.

Considering why the reasons why it was made, I see the benefits of using this kit in Integra and Civic chassis, but not in others. I was just merely posting it to show that it IS being done.
