I would put money on the Idle Air Control Valve. Mine did the same thing. Unplug it and see what happens. Could be a vacuum leak tho.

My idle went to hell a little while after I installed my CAI, header, and exhaust. The basic bolt ons will throw your air fuel ration off just enough to screw with your idle. Normally the car will run fine, but it becomes choked up during idle.

Haha, dont worry about it. I was just too lazy to type it out. lol Well anyway, according to helms if you have no MIL you are supposed to hold the engine at 3k with no load untill your radiator fan comes on. Then, release the throttle and disconnect the the wire to the IACV. If there is no reduction in rpm then the IACV is bad. If there is then it could be a few different things. However if you rpms are fluctuating you likely wont be able to tell if whether or not there was a reducion in rpm. With all this being said I am starting to lean more toward a vacuum leak somewhere.

If your coolant is not bled and has air bubbles it can cause an erratic idle.

It wasn't any of this ^, it ending up being IAC and whatever is connected to the IAC through coolant lines thanks for your help

I had the same problem for the past 3 months and could never figure it out and could never get anyone to help me with it at all. I ran across the 92lude.com site and there was a "IACV Mod" that you could do and when I did it...My problem was fixed. So I think if anyone is having the idleing problem, then they need to try to mod off of 92lude.com ... IT WORKS!
