I have a clunk when I hit the brakes and something rattles around on a few bumps here and there. Well I changed the AC and Alt belts today....PS belt was not in stock. Anyways the motor mount that comes off the AC Bracket is totally shot there is only 1 piece left attatched of the bushing on the inside. I was thinking about just shooting some polyurethane in there for now. Would this work until I feel like forking out about 30-$40 on a new mount?

 

jus changed that mount.. got it for 30 i think normal price is 40.. i was thinking the same thing... but why ghetto it when its fairly inexpensive

 

How do you get the mount off?

WHen I changed the belt I removed the 2 bolts on the top and then the 1 19mm bolt but there was like a washer behind the 19mm and it was locked/stuck on there. The mount was so weak i could moved it around enough to get the old belt off and the new one on.

 

you just had to tap it with a hammer and it would have come off.
