plz plz plz plz plz help me engine wont start
i got a d15b vtec working on pm6, i just bought obd1 conversation harness and i did everything and all the wiring but the engin is not starting, i heard there's stuff about the injectors, i have obd0 injectors, i searched and i found that i have to remove the resistor from the green plug and the willow green wire, i did that, and i dont know what to do with it after that, where is the 8 gray wire?! i dont know exatly where it is, is that my only problem?! the technician said its maybe the distibuter, but when i put my old pm6 on the original harness everything works fine, i have an auto p08 ecu and it suppose to work fine! tell me plz what to do and if u include pics i'll be more happy
Ok..So you have an obd1 d15b with a obd1 conversion harness..But you have a PM6 pre obd ecu ..Thats your 1st problem right there..
Also when you use pre obd injectors(Peak and hold) ,you're supposed to keep the resistor box..

i have a p08 ecu, and it doesn't work when i plug it in, its an auto ecu put i guess it doesnt affect and it will work just the check engine light will be on all the time, plz can u tell me whats my problem, i didnt touch the injectors its the same now with the resistor but it just wont start
Are you %100 sure that the ecu is working..?? do you have a friend with a 92-95 car you can test it on??

Nah,,dont need an electrical vss as there is still a signal being sent to the ecu..

yep i tried it and i tried my frien's Prelude h22a ecu on my harness still doing the same thing, and i tried another p08 and still the same, i'm going nuts man, is it the injictors?
Ok you told me in your pm that you have pre obd distributor ..Thats the problem..You need to get a obd1 distributor to work with the obd1 ecu..
In total you need-
obd1 ecu and distributor
obd1 4 wire 02
conversion harness
distributor adapter or just swap the wires
You have all that already??

ok lsn i'm not sure of my distributer, how can i know its obd1 or obd0?! the 4wire for the o2 sensor hmmm nope i dont have that and i dont know how it looks like, i have everything else u said the ecu, the harness, the round obd1 adapter i have it but it doesnt have the yellow green wire from the distributer, i have a yellow green wire out from somewhere in the engine but i dont know what r they, i'll take pics tomorrow and post them for u guys, i recently found a PW0 OBD0 ecu, is it better just to plug it and do all the other easy work, cuz i'll waste alot of money on the harness and the obd1 ecu i already bought and the technichian will be paid too
does it make any differance if obd1 or obd0 for a single cam vtec?!
