hey guys i can use some help, i have an obd0 crx and i converted to obd1.. im using a p28 chipped ecu and i have a d16z6 sohc vtec dizzy. I still have my resistor box on but i do have obd1 injectors. My car wont start.. just turn and turn and then when i take the key out of the ignition it makes a loud pop like it detonated all late
please help me get my car started

Don't worry about the injectors - that's not your problem.

Do you get a CEL?

It's most likely your distributor wiring. How did you wire it up? Where did you get the harness from?

 

yes i get a cel 43... but that was on my obd0 ecu.. i havent got it started with obd1 yet, i wired the dizzy up by color and then i guessed on the last two white wires.. i read the fatter white wire which i couldnt tell that it was fatter goes to a green/yellow.. i tried that and it didnt work, then i switched the other white with that and still didnt work, when i take my key out of the ignition about 10 second after turning and turning the motor
it makes a loud *** pop
