P1457:Unable to pull vacuum from tank
I failed emissions a while back and still have not had time to fix the problem. At the testing center I got a P1457 code. I read the archived post and found out it can be a multitude of things related to the EVAP canister. However, I took the car to AutoZone so they can diagnose it there. The code there was the same but it read unable to pull vaccum from tank. Does anyone know what that means?
everyone’s going to say vacuum leak, I would check ALL of the hoses make sure there not torn and connected properly, and make sure the evap purge valve is functioning

check yoru gas cap, that code is checking for leaks in the fuel system, if it cant pull vacuum it means theres a leak letting air in equalizing the pressure
