98 accord v6 wit P1457 Evap pending code!!
what's pplz!
i have hooked up a scanner to check for any codes present. none came up, but when i went under pending codes, a p1457 code came up, (leak near charcoal canister). i check all hoses for cracks, loose, or missing. all hose are ok. then, i replaced canister purge solenoid valve, evap bypass solenoid. then i reseted the pcm by removing the negative terminal. the code was clear! then i drove around for a couple of days. hooked a scanner again, and the code came as pending again. should i replace the charcoal canister or vent shut-off solenoid valve? any body wit suggestion would be apprciated. someone help me plz!!!

The first thing I would check is the canister vent shut valve.

A loose or missing gas cap will usually put up a p1456 code.

All those things that you've already replaced; did you test any of them to see if they were really bad? You could've bought a MityVac instead...
When mine got P1457 it turned out to be the vent-shut valve. Mine was corroded & it didn't even click when I jumpered it directly to the battery. Normally you'd use a MityVac to see if it opens & closes properly.
Check out https://honda-tech.com/zero...63913 & scroll down to my post with stuff to check for P1457. I should say that's for a '98 4-cyl; I don't know whether anything's changed for the V-6.
