how do you adjust the clutch release point???
i just finished installing a d16z6 into my crx and it runs fine. i am using an act street/strip clutch. when it engages the clutch, it probably takes about an inch off the floor to engage the clutch. i adjusted the clutch cable to the point where i can smoothly shift gears. any more or less adjustment wont let me shift gears. is there anyway to adjust the engagement point on the clutch pedal?
My Clutchmasters in the same way, it's full on at about 1" off the floor also. I got used to it and now I love it. Makes rev matching and double clutching easier. But like you said, if you adjust the cable at all, it won't fully disengage, or you'll be dragging on the throwout bearing.
i used to have a clutchmaster stage 3 in my old crx. it engaged like stock. the clutch pedal was kinda liimp up until that point but better than the act that is in my crx that i have now. i just remembered that i am using a clutch cable from an 88 civic dx. i dont know if that would make a difference. any more ideas?
My stage 3 also feels stock at the pedal, but never slips. I'm using the 92 Integra GS-R clutch cable, so things might be different.
my old stage didnt slip either. but now i have the act. it came with the motor. bump for some more ideas.
